A major player in the retirement options market and a UK subsidiary of a major international investment house wished to undertake a major expansion programme, recruiting a top-level specialist intermediary sales force.

Its policy of only hiring top quality intermediary sales consultants with a track record of success was a tall order, given that it was targeting the very top end of the market, where consultants are usually extremely well looked after by their present employer. The only option was targeted executive search backed by unbranded advertising.

Working on a region-by-region basis, Paul Harper Search & Selection was successful in identifying, approaching, shortlisting and recruiting 6 successful consultants who met the very demanding criteria.

From a target market of 1,024 potential candidates, Paul Harper Search & Selection arranged interviews with 48 who were eventually narrowed down to 20 first class candidates selected to be interviewed by our client. Six received formal offers and joined the company.
