Regional Director, Financial Planning - South East

As part of ongoing expansion plans, our client, a national Chartered and Independent Financial Planning firm, is seeking an energetic and innovative financial planning leader. The role will involve full strategic and budget responsibility for an intensely client focused and highly successful team of HNW Chartered Financial Planners, some of whom are responsible for £1m+ annual income. The dynamic and highly entrepreneurial senior leadership team are seeking a like-minded individual to take the region to the next level.
Responsibilities include achieving commercial objectives, growth planning and people development, via 1:1s, tailored coaching and client observations (not T&C).
This is a key hire for the business, requiring a strong and adaptable leader, capable of developing, implementing and managing the strategic direction of the region, encompassing organic growth, profitability targets and client outcomes.
Candidates must have experience in managing teams of financial planners, and possess significant levels of credibility, gravitas and enthusiasm to gain respect. The ability to construct solutions and deliver plans against multiple objectives is therefore a prerequisite, and candidates will preferably have experience of budget and P&L management. Qualified to Level 4 is essential, although Chartered is preferred.
