Financial Services Actuarial Team Manager | AIA or FIA Qualified

Our client is a fast paced, growing, market leader FinTech company and UK provider of financial planning and advice technology.
As part of its expansion plans, it is seeking an AIA or FIA qualified Actuary with a minimum of 5 years’ Financial Services experience to lead a team of Actuarial Consultants, with responsibility for oversight and sign-off of all ongoing and new projects, many of which are based around stochastic modelling.
This is a key hire for the business and will involve working with internal stakeholders, including software developers, across a range of projects. Whilst neither is a prerequisite, an understanding of technology and/or Pensions would be an advantage (Pension legislation is mixed in with the modelling). The role will also involve ensuring all projects remain on track, providing consultancy to the client post project-delivery, and handling client queries.
The vacancy represents a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Actuary with experience of signing off projects to broaden their skillset by stepping into the world of cashflow modelling, manage a team and multiple projects with a commercial client focus.
